Technology-Assisted Self Regulation...
QEEG Neurofeedback, as a form of Live Complexity Training (LCT), involves being aware of modifications of the mind accompanied by 1) curiosity, 2) openness, 3) acceptance, and 4) appreciation. These are also the basic features of mindfulness meditation. It may also unctions like an adaptogen and protect the connectome against network attack.
What is TASR? TASR means Technology-Assisted Self-Regulation / Self-Realization. In the case of "TAG Sync Neurofeedback" it refers to a Brain-Computer-Brain Interface (BCBI) in which the technical operator assists in regulation of network efficiency and stability through Live Complexity Training (LCT). TASR can also be as simple as mindfulness of temperature or heart rate variability regulation or might involve neuromodulation techniques such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). With respect to neurofeedback in general, and TAG Sync in particular, TASR - Technology assisted self regulation - only involves non-invasive measurement of surface physiology. It does not require that a client be exposed to any currents or excess radiation. The nearly real-time feedback of physiological activity is automatically processed subconsciously by the brain’s coincidence detectors. This may be used to facilitate novelty detection, equilibrate sensory-motor control, increase adaptability, improve error correction, and harness complexity through synchrony.
